Jenny Fowler Davis

On Monday, June 20, 2016, our sweet Jenny passed from this life to her eternal place in heaven. Jenny was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend! She dedicated her life to her true passion of loving others and spreading the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Her smile, personality and genuine love for others impacted the lives of all she came into contact with. Jenny had a true compassion for women who found themselves in difficult situations. For many years, each week, Jenny would spend time with the women at the Buncombe County Jail talking, sharing, listening and truly caring for them. Jenny also had a heart for women who were being trafficked in the sex trade. She made several trips to Bangkok Thailand where she worked with Nightlight, a ministry that offered women a way out of the sex trade by providing them a home, a job and a new direction in life. Jenny is survived by her husband, Dan Davis, sons Noah and Nicholas, mother Joette Juhl and sisters Lauren and Christi. Jenny's legacy will live on for years to come through the lives that she has so wonderfully touched. Her beauty, love and laughter will be missed by us all. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Jenny's honor to Nightlight to assist in their efforts to end human trafficking. Donations can be made online at http://www.nightlightinternational.com/ You may choose to give to any of their efforts in Bangkok, Atlanta, Los Angeles or Branson.
