  6. I only knew Jere from our book groups. She was always kind and insightful. So full of life and humor! So sad to hear of her passing.

  7. Jere and I became friends and sorority sisters in the 70’s and remained friends for many years. She was always up for a museum visit, a hike or a midnight bike ride. Condolences to Jere’s mother and her daughters. She was a special woman.

  8. I had the pleasure of working as Jerry’s teaching assistant for 4 years. She was an amazing science teacher and a proud mother of her two girls.
