Memories Timeline

  1. My sympathy to family and friends of Jerry. We were good pals through high school,joined the Navy and went through bootcamp together. I remember, and miss the good times we had, and I’m glad he touched the lives of others. Farewell my FRIEND, we will miss you.

  2. Dear Carla, Melody & Family;
    There are never enough words to say that will help with grief. Having lost Dean’s mother and my father this past few months we can only give you the words that gave us great comfort. The word of God says :Don’t grieve as those who have no hope.’ The word does not tell us to not greive but to not greive as those who have no hope. YOU HAVE HOPE!! Our hope rest in knowing that Jerry is in Heaven and that We will see him again. Know that you are in our prayers and the good memories Jerry left you with will give you great comfort. One of our foundest memeories of Jerry is the sparkle in his eye when he talked about his Jesus. This was a passion for him and he loved serving Jesus. Melody remember that the greatest tribute you can give you dad is too be the best for Jesus. Because what we becomne is a true reflection of our Fathers. We love you and we will miss you ‘Big Jerry’ Love Dean & Margaret

  3. Dear Carla and family, I was stunned to read of Jerry’s passing in today’s paper. I had been thinking of you folks just last week and even turned about in church to see if you were there that Sunday and hoping that you were. I am so sorry for your loss. Jerry was such a happy person – I know that he is in the presence of Jesus now.

  4. My thoughts and prayers are with Carla and the family. Only God knows why , and all we can do is keep our trust in him.

  5. It is a time of loss for many who new Jerry, but he is at peace and in the arms of God who he loved as much as his family and friends. Nobody can fill his place, but we have the peace of knowing that someday we will be reunited with those gone on before us. May God continue to strengthen all of you during this loss and May He be the one you look to when times seem hard. You are a family who will make it, because you have Jesus as your strength.
    We Love you and our prayers are with you.

  6. Carla,
    We can only offer our prayers and love to you and the children. There are no words that can take away the void you feel at this time. Only God can sustain you through this, as you well know. Jerry was the kind of man who was of the utmost integrity. His love for God, family, and friends will never be forgotten. His work for Christ will carry on through his past works and of course through you and his beloved children. He was a man after God’s own heart. We will always remember the times of fellowship with you and him throughout the years. We will miss him until we see him again. We love you, we love him.
