Jerry McMahan Crook

Jerry McMahan Crook. 66, of Arden, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Leomia McMahan and was also preceded in death by one sister, Gail Gilbart (Jerry). Jerry was a over-the-road truck driver for 38 years and was most recently employed by Lipman Trucking in Hendersonville. He is survived by his loving spouse, Agnes E. Crook; daughters, Kimberly Harwell (Kevin) and Patience Bryson; sons, Jeremy Crook (Cindy), Jason Crook, Jeffrey Lemmons (Dolores) and Michael Lemmons (Christy); grandchildren, Dalton, Dylan, Wesley, Charley, Lindsey, Danielle, Mackenzie, Carter, Megan and Madison; great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Landon and Lawson; one sister, Jean Plemmons (Earl) and one brother, Harold Marler (Linda). A private service for the family will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks that memorial donations be made to Skyland Fire and Rescue, PO Box 640, Skyland, NC 28776. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family
