Family of Jimmie Lee, I have know Jimmie Lee all my life but until recent years had never heard him called anything but Monk or Monkey. The last time I saw him he was running around with George ‘Skeeter’ Branton. They were a pair. Monk was always a fun loving gracious individual and will be missed by all his friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

TONI,,I AM SO SORRY…MY HEART GOES OUT TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY,,,CHERISH HIS MEMORY,,MEMORIES ARE FOREVER..LOVE YA,,,JEAN
The Lord was Jimmie’s shepherd,
never did he want;
Now Jimmie lies down in green pastures
beside the still waters.
But someday soon, at the shout of the archangel,
at the sound of the rams horn of Gabriel
Jimmie, and the other sleeping saints
shall be raised from the dead.
Jimmie’s soul shall be restored
for he has walked with God in the paths of righteousness
for Christ’s sake.
Yea, though he now rests in the valley of the shadow of death,
Jimmie fears no evil.
Someday soon Jimmie shall be with the Lord.
God, Himself, shall comfort him.
When the sleeping saints arise,
we living saints shall join them, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
There, in Heaven, we shall feast at the table prepared for us,
there shall no longer be enemies;
We shall be anointed with the Holy Spirit,
and our love cup shall overflow.
Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow all of us
throughout the endless ages of eternity;
as we dwell in the house of the Lord forever!
