Jimmy Franklin Cox, 64, went home to be with the Lord August 29, 2015.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley A. Cox; mother, Allie Jo Cox; daughter, Tonya Marie Ingle and husband Mark; grandchildren, Jake Ingle and wife Haley, Josh Ingle, and Jared Ingle; great-grandson, Axel Ingle; 4 sisters; 2 brothers; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Harley Frank Cox.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Groce Funeral Home, Patton Ave.
Interment will follow at Green Hills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
To Tonya and all my family, I’m so sorry. My heart is heavy. I pray for peace and comfort for each of you. I know he will be missed dearly.

Jimmy Was A Good Man & He Would Do Anything For The People He Loved & Cared About , He Had A lot Of Friends Who Knew He Would Help Them If They Needed Him . Jim was a great person, his finger prints are all over most of the street rods, and classic Cars all over Western North Carolina and beyond.
