Aunt Joan was a great friend and would always be there to listen and to give others comfort. She now has comfort from the long struggle she had. I know that the Lord welcomed her with open arms and she is now pain free. She will be missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace. Love Johnny, Shelly and Shannon and their families.
Aunt Joan was simply a ray of love and light and genuine compassion. Our loss of her in our lives is deeply felt, but we rejoice that she is with loved ones and in no pain. God accepted her in His arms with tremendous pleasure! All our love Aunt Joan!!!!
Aunt Joan will be missed by many family and friends. We know that she is in the presence of our God. She fought a good fight, bless her heart. She was truly a blessed Aunt that we loved very deeply. You will never be forgotten, all our love, Mark & Sue Sutton

Jack,
I just received the news of Joan’s passing. I really enjoyed working with Joan for several years. She was always upbeat and carried a beautiful smile. May she rest in peace..
Aunt Joan is now at perfect rest. No more pain or struggles. She loved others deeply and always had heartfelt concern for others. She always had a quick smile and laugh. We will miss you very much. Love you and see you on the other side!! Gib & Cathy
I went to Mars Hill College with Joan, and I just read of her passing as I received the alumni magazine today. I’m so very sorry to learn of her passing. Ironically I contacted Mars Hill a little over a year ago to see if they had an email address for her which they did. I was so happy to communicate with her and she told me what a happy life she was enjoying. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
