Joel Eugene Ward passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023. He was the son of the late Gene A. and Barbara J. McCurry Ward. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Ward.
Mr. Ward is survived by his children: Dustin “DJ” Ward, Breana Ward, and Brandy King; sisters, Waynette Davis and Wendy Ward; girlfriend, Teresa Penland; best friends, Tony Briggs and Burt Goodman; mother of Breana and DJ, Karen Rule; and several special nephews.
The memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave.
