John Breckinridge Neblett

John Breckinridge Neblett, 79, of Asheville, died on Friday, September 9, 2011, of heart failure at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. John was born on September 15, 1931 in Louisville, KY. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Wayne Ann Howard Neblett, who died in 1987. John attended the University of Louisville, KY, and graduated from the Speed Scientific School, in 1954. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church. John lived a full life. He leaves behind his sister, Marilyn Reynolds; three daughters, Rebecca Hedin, Edith "Tish" Hawks, and Maggi Bailey; grandchildren, Tara Hawks Nyanga, Brecken Ruland, Whitney Hunt, and Lindsay Heim; and great-grandchildren, Judah, Hawks, Avery, and Garrett. He will be missed. A memorial service for Mr. Neblett will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at Central United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Rob Blackburn officiating. Private interment will take place at Green Hills Cemetery.
