John Eugene Smith, 86, of
Bushnell, FL, formerly of Fletcher,
died Saturday, July 12, 2003, in
Bushnell.
Mr. Smith was a native of
Henderson County and was a son of
the late Ephan Eugene and Essie
Moore Smith. He was retired from
Olin Corporation/Ecusta Paper Co.
He is survived by his wife,
Josephine Smith; two daughters,
Jane Youngblood of Fletcher and
Jacqueline Baldwin of Etowah; two
sons, John E. Smith, Jr. of Greenville,
SC and Joseph A. Smith of Rock Hill,
SC; five grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be
at 11:00 am Thursday at Green Hills
Cemetery.
