John Kenneth Carroll, Sr., 80, passed away to be with the Lord Monday, September 12, 2016 at CarePartners Rehabilitation Center. A native of Cabarrus Co. and resident of Asheville, he was a son of the late Pearl Lee and Eula Riley Carroll. Ken, a beloved father and grandfather, is survived by his daughter, Teresa Earwood (John); sons, Chris Carroll and John Kenneth Carroll, Jr. (April); grandchildren, Tyler Earwood, Joshua Kenneth Carroll, Jonah Carroll, Jacob Carroll, Jaiden Carroll, and Jessa Carroll; and numerous other family members. No services are scheduled at this time. Groce Funeral Home in Asheville, NC is assisting the family.
