John Patrick Dowd

John Patrick Dowd, 76, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023.

A native of Cleveland, OH, John was the son of the late Richard and Margaret Curry Dowd. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Judy Sedlak and brother, Bill Dowd.

Mr. Dowd proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy on the aircraft carrier USS Wasp and also served in the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Linda Kay Derler Dowd; daughter, Carrie Dowd Jones, son-in-law, Iian Jones; and son, Kevin Dowd and daughter-in-law Tracy Dowd.
