John Wayne Troutman, 80, of Asheville, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015.
Mr. Troutman was born May 22, 1934, in Statesville, NC. He was a Veteran of the the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Libby" Troutman; sons, Ronald Troutman, John Troutman, and Charles Troutman; 4 grandchildren, Joe and Tealisa Troutman, Kathryn Miller, and Eric Campbell; 3 great-grandchildren, Angelica Oxendine, Austin Troutman, and Shawna Troutman; and by 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Wayne was not only a co-worker and friend, but an amazing mentor as well. He taught me so much for which I will always be grateful. We will all miss him! Libby, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
