John William (Jack) Bell, 80, of Asheville, NC, died on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at Care Partners Hospice Solace Center.
A native of Lynn, MA, John was the son of the late Chester Arthur and Louise Marie Grinnell Bell. He formerly lived in Los Angeles, CA, where he worked with the Toluca Pacific securities firm, and maintained friendships with his coworkers. He lived in Asheville since 1997.
Mr. Bell is survived by his brother, Stephen Arthur Bell (Amaya), of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; and seven nieces and nephews, including Tim Kelley (Tonya) of Asheville.
He was preceded in death by sister Janice Kelley of Asheville.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Fr. Dean Cesa at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 19, 2022, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Candler.

Our condolences to Tim and family. John was a warm and funny man , he had great stories and had a way of conveying them just so , it was a pleasure knowing him and he will be missed.
I worked with John for over 10 years. He was a wonderful friend. Very kind, very funny and boy could he tell the stories.
