John William McAbee, 83, of Fairview, departed this life on April 7th, 2015, after an extended illness.
Born June 7, 1931 in Buncombe Co., he was a son of the late Frank and Mollie Bailey McAbee.
Mr. McAbee is survived by his wife, Helen Owenby McAbee; one daughter, Reba Dockery and husband Tommy; six grandchildren; and one sister, Flora Wright.
No services are planned.
