  1. During part of my time working with the Asheville Police Department, I was assigned to a patrol squad where Sgt. Johnnie Crouch was one of our Sergeants. He was always professional and well respected by the officers and the general public. I have many fond memories of answering calls where he would appear to assist and/or just check to ensure we were alright. He was a good man with a good heart. My condolences to the family.

    • I worked for Sgt. Crouch when I started at APD. He was a good man and I am honored to have worked for him. He believed in the team, and that is lacking in L.E. today.

      Rest easy sir!

  2. Sgt. Crouch was one of my Sgts. at APD for a number of years. He was always professional, pleasant, no nonsense and easy to follow as a squad leader. He always treated us fairly and he was well respected. I would occasionally see him at the Airport later when he worked out there. I also remember him as a fierce golfer… he could smack the ball!
Peaceful sendoff, Sgt. Crouch… you made a difference.

  3. Rest in peace uncle Big Johnny you where loved and you are missed . I know you’re in a better place and with your Heavenly Family 💔 love you all and until we meet again xoxoxoxo 😘 love your neice Phyllis.
