Joigena Jones Wolfe, 79, of Asheville, NC passed away on March 20, 2024.

She was born in Polk County, NC to the late Lawrence Talmage Jones and Christine Gibson Jones. She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Boyce Wilson, and her second husband, Robert Wolfe. She was also preceded in death by two sons, James Michael Wilson and David Lawrence Wilson, and siblings Lois Jones, Peggy Harwell, Shirley Owen and Earl Jones.

She is survived by a son, Joseph “Joe” Wilson (Carrie); two grandchildren, Chloe Irene Wilson and Jaden Joseph Wilson; and two great-grandchildren, Mason Wilson and Carter Kearns.

She will be missed by her family and friends.

A graveside service is planned for 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2024 at Beaverdam Baptist Church Cemetery.

Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road is assisting the family.
