Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. To family and friends – My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. Jo touched the lives of many. Blessings and peace, Betty Nelon Rhodes

  2. Jo was such a dear friend – and oh, what a joy to be around. Her love of her family and her Father’s music rubbed off on all of us. Her keeping alive the Music of our Mountains will live on. I attended some of her classes at the CFS and always left with a song in my heart and dancing in my feet. God Bless her family – she will always live in our hearts. Everytime a banjo is played or a team dances, she will be there joining in, with a smile on her face.

  3. The region has lost a wonderful person who was one of the last links to the roots of our musical heritage. The Mountain Dance & Folk Festival and the Lusford Festival will carry on her memory when a mountain fiddler draws a tune on a bow or a child learns a first clogging step. We’ll all miss her very much………

  4. Thinking of you at this difficult time and sharing in the loss of your loved one.
    With deepest sympathy,

    Willie Glance, Chaplain
