Joseph Erving Swimm

Joseph Erving Swimm, 95, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 23, 2011. A native of Lawrence Township, NJ, he was a son of Arthur A. and Mary Elizabeth Warne Swimm. Mr. Swimm worked for the US Postal Service for over 30 years as a mail carrier, was Commodore of the Yacht Club in St. Petersburg, FL, was a veteran of the US Coast Guard serving during WWII, and was a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church in St. Petersburg, FL.Survivors include a daughter Patricia "Tricia" Warner of Asheville; grandchildren, Todd A. and Troy A. Klutts; great grandchildren Morgan Klutts, Ryan Klutts and Aidan Klutts. No services are planned at this time. Groce Funeral Home, Tunnel Road is assisting the Swimm family.
