Joseph Fusco, 86, of 10 Barclay Road, Candler, died Tuesday, December 11, 2001, in an Asheville hospital.

Mr. Fusco was born in Buncombe County and was a son of the late Fred and Bessie Young Fusco. He was married to Jacqueline Ann Glance Fusco who died in 1991. He was an Army veteran of WW II and was retired from Enka where he was a First Class Instrument Maker. He was a member of Hominy Baptist Church and a member of John A. Nichols Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dick and Pat Fusco; two grandchildren, Colby Fusco and Jennifer Caldwell, and a great-grandson Dustin.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. C. Fred Werhan and the Rev. Joe Yelton officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

His family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
