  1. My sincere condolences to the family of Mr. Joe Hensley. My husband, Roger Hensley, always enjoyed visiting and talking to Uncle Joe about the Hensley Family and days gone by. My deepest sympathies.

  2. My deepest sympathy for your loss. Thank you for a chance to know Mr.Joe he was really a special person always enjoyed talking with him.

  3. My deepest sympathy to your great loss. I got to know Joe at Carillon Assisted Living where I am employed. I highly admired Joe, he was such a kind and thoughtful man. I enjoyed talking with him several times daily. He always had a smile and kind word to say to me, he reminded me so much of my grandfather. We had things in common, I’m from Asheville also, we had a lot of wonderful talks together. I miss him greatly, but heaven has another angel in heaven now. My prayers will be with both of his daughters and family members, May God be with you all during this time. God Bless, Kim Hensley {Housekeeper}

  4. Kathy saw this in the paper and finally got to respond. Your kids are my cousins – and it is awful how families don’t stay together. Your daddy always kept a wonderful yard and garden- and that house on the corner was always a beauty. it was good to see you at J & S and to see Mr. Henlsey with you – take care and stay in touch: Vickie Jones Gaddy – 828-275-2680 – mom and Susie were so close and I was only 12 when she died – I would love to see/and know ‘Dickie’ – and the kids ! !
