Joyce Delane Cole Miller, 76, of Asheville, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021.

A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Lucy Todd Cole. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Miller; one sister, Blanche and four brothers, Floyd, Richard, Eugene and Donald.

Joyce is survived by three children, Luci Sparks (James), Greg Miller (Michaela) and Chad Miller (Rebecca); eleven grandchildren, John Dylon, AnnMarie, Jim, Mara, Emma, Cayden, Campbell, Cooper, Colby, Madilynn and Michael; two sisters, Katie and Aline and one brother, Bruce. Joyce truly loved and cherished her entire family.

A Funeral Service to celebrate Joyce’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 19, 2021 in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road with burial to follow at Gashes Creek Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM.

  7. Joyce we really had some wonderful times together growing up. You have always been such a sweet and caring person. God loves you so much more than we ever could here on earth, so you are with him now and your race has been run. We will catch up with you and all our loved ones at home one day soon.   16. My beautiful sweet Aunt Joyce. I miss you and wish I could hug you one more time. I have such good memories of you. As a little child I remember the picnics we went on. The laughter around Grandma Cole’s dinner table. I love you very much, and I know I will see you again. I know you and Grandma Vess are cutting a shine up there.
