Dear Rick, Ernie, and Boys,
We are so sorry for your loss, but rejoice that she is now with the Lord. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through the next days, weeks, months, and years. Lean on the Lord and your friends for the strength that you need at this time.

Rick, Ernie, and boys,
Nita was such a good person, always a lady. One of my fondest childhood memories is of her french braiding my hair and painting my fingernails, just the all girlie stuff she knew I liked. I loved Nita. She was a good friend to my mom and Nita helped her in so many ways to make Maw Plemmons’s life more comfortable before Maw died. You can take comfort in the way you have so lovingly taken care of Nita, even when there were hard decisions to be made. With sympathy and love, Earlene
Dear Rick and Family,
We will all miss our Nita. She required our very best efforts. Her slipping away was so much like Mom’s; very quiet and resigned to the will of our Creator. Just rest in His peace and restoration now, and in the coming year.
Mom would have been 91, within two months from her passing on Nov. 16, 2009.
I let Dinah know on Sat. evening, Nov. 13.
Love to you and yours,
Joyce Ann
Ricky: Thoughts and prayers to you and your family during this time. Nita was such a sweet lady. Gerald and Carolyn Stamey
Ricky and family,
I am truly sorry for your loss. Nita was truly a one of a kind woman. My family and I had the honor and privilege of living next to her for almost 15 years. During this time she acted almost as a Grandma to me and my sister and we will never forget the time we spent with her. We would visit with Nita and our afternoons were filled with constant conversation and TV shows she enjoyed watching. She always wanted to know how school was going and how our day had been. I consider it a blessing to have had Nita in our lives. She taught me a great deal about life and enjoyed watching the neighborhood kids play. Nita was a very strong and independent woman and I can only think now that she is up in heaven where she can hear, see and move around as if she were young again. I know she enjoyed the time I spent with her but I don’t think she realized just how special that time was to me. Thank you for sharing her in our lives. Nita will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
