Judith Mary Veronica Flaherty

Judith Mary Veronica Flaherty, 81, of West Asheville passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 surrounded by her children. She was born to Angela and Patrick Flaherty in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin and held a position at the Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts. She lived in Toronto, Canada and Sarasota, Florida before settling in Asheville, North Carolina in the early 1990s.

Judy was well loved by anyone who knew her. She provided Oxford houses for people in recovery. She was a voracious reader, gardener and adored her granddaughter. She had a love for dogs and never met a stranger.

She is survived by her son Greg Carder (Shari Kendrick), daughter Tracy Carder (Chris Bigger), granddaughter Lara Bigger, and sister Patricia Flaherty.
