Judith "Judy" Allen Emery, 71, of Asheville, died Monday, May 1, 2017. Born in E. St. Louis, IL on April 24, 1946, Judy was a daughter of the late Zaelon Raymond Allen and Virginia Joyce Willis Larson. Surviving are her husband, Raymond M. Emery; daughters, Michelle Sinclair and Kelly LaRowe; step-sons, Robbie and Jeffrey Emery; six grandchildren; and five siblings. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

    The days ahead will be hard but what better comfort then knowing God has you in his hands and Judy is in heaven with our Savior. I think back to conversations with Ms. Judy.   14. So heartbroken over Judy’s passing! I enjoyed each and every time she came into the office and was honored to be apart of helping with her medical care. There is no one like her! So sweet and full of life every time she came in. I will miss her kinds words and sweet hugs. My prayers are with you all!

  15. Judy will be greatly missed. Enjoyed getting to know her. She loved her family very much. Take comfort in knowing she is with God now and her body is healed. Sending prayers to her family. Raymond, Kelly, Michelle and her Granddaughters.

  16. Judy was a faithful volunteer at Mission Hospital from 2007 through 2014 having served 420 hours of volunteer time. She provided excellent care to patients and families in the Heart Center Waiting Room. She will be missed.

  17. Judy was an inspiration to me, I was blessed to know Judy and she touched my life everytime I got to talk to her. Not only was she a patient of mine she was an amazing lady and I will miss her dearly. My prayers go out to you that God is comforting you still in this time of loss.
