Julia Felder Jones

Julia F. Jones, 88, of Asheville, died September 1, 2000 after a brief illness. Mrs. Jones was the daughter of the late Edward Estes and Ida Mellard Felder and was born in St. George, SC. She had resided in Asheville since 1915 and was married to the late J. Paul Jones who died in 1963. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Lloyd Bryson of Mills River, daughter, Julia Jones of Asheville and a number of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Lewis Memorial Park with Reverend Cristy Harley officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ABCCM, 24 Cumberland Ave., Asheville, NC 28801 or to Mills River Baptist Church, Old Church Fund, 689 S. Mills River Rd., Horse Shoe, NC 28742. Groce Funeral Home, Patton Avenue is in charge of arrangements.
