Kate Fisher McMinn

Mrs. McMinn was born in Chaplin, KY, and was a daughter of the late J. Courtney and Annie Trent Neal.  She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Pender Fisher and L.W. McMinn and by her son, Col. Bruce C. Fisher.  She attended Asheville city schools and  the Asheville Business
College.  She was a secretary with Asheville paving company and was a member of First Christian Church where she taught in the primary department.

She is survived by a step-son, Jack McMinn of Asheville;  her sister, Juanita Jenkins of Asheville;  one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.

Any old friends would be welcome to join with Juanita “Jack” Jenkins, in saying good-bye to her sister at a graveside service at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Riverside Cemetery.  The Reverend Jack M. Daniel will officiate.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church.
