Kate R. Bryson

Kate Runion Bryson, 79, of 14 Cooper Boulevard, Asheville, died Friday, May 14, 1999, in an Asheville hospital.

Mrs. Bryson was born in Madison County and was a daughter of the late Clarence S. and Cary West Runion. She was a member of Westwood Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Walter M. Bryson, Sr.; a son and daughter-in-law, Walter M. “Beau” and Mary Ann Bryson, Jr., of Roswell, GA; a sister, Faye Raposa of Tallahassee, FL; and two grandchildren, Patrick M. Bryson of
Roswell and Amy Bryson of Los Angeles, CA.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 am Monday at Pisgah View Memorial Park with the Revs. Carson Moseley and Foyd Bennett officiating.

Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Sunday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue and request that memorials be made to Westwood Baptist
Church, 150 Westwood Place, Asheville, NC 28806.
