Katherine was a sweet neighbor and a wonderful Christian friend. You will miss your precious mother. Our family will be praying for your family during this time of sorrow. We rejoice with Katherine because she is with her Lord and with loved ones who went before her.

We were so fortunate to know Kathryn for many years and visit her often. She had a mischievous wit mixed with an elegant grace that is unforgettable. She amazed us with her positive courage and acceptance of whatever the Lord placed before her. She was a model for sharing her deep relationship with Christ unhesitantly with others in an unassuming manner. Thanks Kathryn for being such a wonderful friend to my mother and giving her many hours of laughter and fellowship.
Prayers and thoughts are with the family. May God bless and give strength during these difficult times.
John and family, my prayers for peace and comfort during this time. Being a Christian assures you that she has gone home to her heavenly father and you will again see her one day. Your friend at work and in Christ, Susan Bostian
Bruce told me about his mom because we both had/have Sjogren’s Syndrome. I met her at a meeting of other Sjogrens folks. She gave me her phone number to call if I needed information or just support. She was very positive in her approach to improve our condition. My prayers and thoughts are with Katherine’s family, especially Sue, Joey and Katie.
I was a classmate of Katherine at Lee Edwards HIgh. After high school, the next time I saw her was when I had my first child at Mission Hospital in Dec, 1960. I especially remember how caring and reassuring she was. I am so impressed with her establishment of Bethany Christian Services in Asheville What a wonderful service! I also knew Ronald, also at Lee Edwards. Although we have spent our life/careers at WCU in Cullowhee, we are sorry our paths didn’t cross more often. May God comfort you in your grief.
to the family of sweet Katherine. Just wanted to give you my condolences. My mother is on the same hall as Katherine was at Pisgah Manor,. I always enjoyed talking with her. She was a very special lady.
