Kathleen C. Miller

Clara Kathleen Caldwell Miller, 83, of 795 Monte Vista Road, Candler, died Monday, January 20, 2003, in an Asheville hospital. Mrs. Miller was born in Madison County and was a daughter of the late Columbus Andrew and Hester Thomas Caldwell. She was also preceded in death by her husband William Howard Miller who died in 1987. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church in Madison County and the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by four daughters, Faye Sealey and her husband J.D., Elizabeth Miller and her husband David, and Linda Glenn of Asheville and Brenda Allen and her husband Gerald of Swannanoa; a special friend George Kolb of Waynesville; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Thursday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Roger Slagle officiating. Burial will be at Bowman-Rector Cemetery, Marshall. Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home and at other times will be at her home.
