  3. Psalm 9:9-10. The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 62:1-2 Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.

  4. Kathy was like my second mom growing up. Chantell was like the sister I never had. I remember Kathy taking us everywhere with them. To the baseball games up on the base and to the reservoir to swim. I think most of the time we rode in the bed of the truck. Amanda was just a toddler when they moved away. Kathy wasn’t afraid to discipline us kids – even though we weren’t her own. By doing that I learned some valuable life lessons from her. I am grateful she was part of my life growing up. May God watch over you and your entire family during this difficult time. Sending prayers to each of you.

  12. Dear Family,
Kathy was a young high schooler when Nancy and I moved to Asheville in 1969. It has been our privilege to know her and the Webb family across the years. Kathy and I had talked a couple of times and prayed together via phone during the past couple of weeks.
While we are saddened by her passing, we are thankful that she is free of pain. Be assured of our love and our prayers for you all. I am sorry that I am unable to be with you as you greet friends. God bless! Ronnie Owen, Former pastor at Mount Carmel.
