Keith Daniel Singletary, 80, of Fletcher, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023, at Advent Health.

Keith grew up in Elroy, WI, a son of the late Ivan and Mary Kay (Welsh) Singletary. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Richard, William, Phillip and John Singletary and sister, Donna Duckworth.

Keith loved to bake and owned a bakery in Elroy, WI. He went on to enjoy a long and successful career in manufacturing and in his retirement, became a member of the local Ace Hardware team. He always enjoyed time spent with family, especially his beloved grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Charolette Hoover Singletary; son, Kent Singletary and his wife, Merilee; daughter, Jan Roberts and her husband, Bobby. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Rebecca Rosales and her husband, Fernando, Jacob Roberts, Andrew Singletary, and Peter Singletary.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM EST on Wednesday, August 23 at Boiling Springs Baptist Church in Fletcher and will be streamed live via the church website (https://boilingspringsbaptistchurch.com/livestream/).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either the Bible Broadcasting Network, PO Box 7300, Charlotte, NC 28241 or the Hendersonville Rescue Mission, 639 Maple Street, Hendersonville, NC 28793.

  10. Keith was a great soul that will truly be missed. His smile and his eagerness to help and teach new things was a blessing. I will always be thankful to him. when i started Ace 11 years ago.

  11. So sorry to hear of cousin Keith’s passing…I just found out about it…there are only 4 of the Singletary cousins left…too bad we never really knew Keith, but our Dad’s were brothers…and family is family…you are in my prayers…
