Kelley Anders Langford, 44, of 318 Glider Drive, Candler, died Tuesday, December 27, 2005, at her home. Mrs. Langford was born in Buncombe County and was a former employee of Graybar Electric. She is survived by a daughter, Crystal Partain and her husband Jeremiah, of Asheville; a son, Michael Jeramy Payne of Candler; her mother and step-father, Mary Frances and Larry Ball of Asheville, a grandson, Destin Michael Partain; a brother, J. Mark Anders and his wife Betsy of Salisbury; a step-brother, Troy S. Ball of Orlando, FL, a half-brother Kevin S. Ball and his wife Stephanie of Alexander, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. James H. Johnson officiating. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Mausoleum. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Flowers will be appreciated or memorials may be made to the West Asheville Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, 926 Haywood Road, Asheville, NC 28806.

    We are so sorry about Kelley. This is so hard for us to except. Tony just lost his sister , she was @ Groce and the funeral was Monday. Now this. We are just so terribly sorry. I tried finding your No. but couldn’t. Will you please call me later and let me know. 254-4250. We are going to try coming to funeral but it will be so sad for Tony after all we have been through. I will tell you later. God bless her little sweet darling heart. Remember all the swimming trips. I loved her so much. Wanted to let you know this just in case we don’t get there. I was best friends with Crystal all through middle school and high school and Kelley was always a second mom to me…my second home.
