Kenneth "Pap" Anderson Fletcher ~ Kenneth "Pap" Anderson, 72, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, November 27, 2008. Mr. Anderson was born in Buncombe County and was a son of the late Vestal and Olive Lance Anderson. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, one brother, two grandchildren, Corene and Lindsey and a great-granddaughter, Graciella. He is survived by two daughters; Teena Maxwell Gibbs and Reva Anderson, both of Fletcher; two sons, Ronnie Anderson and his wife, Janice, of Fletcher and Perry Anderson and his wife, Jodi , of Arden; his companion, Doris Presley and her daughter, Courtney, both of Fletcher; nine grandchildren, Shane and his wife, Denise, Brooke and her husband, Nathan, Jared, Joe, Brandon, Jacob, Austin, Josh and Skylar and four great-grandchildren, Sheldon, Sidney, Mason and Addison. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, December 1, 2008 at the Words of Life Tabernacle in Arden with Pastor Carl Bishop and Reverend Lloyd Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 PM Monday at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Words of Life Heating Fund, 815 Glen Bridge Road, Arden, NC 28704.
