Kenneth Dewayne Meece
Arden– Kenneth Dewayne Meece, 49, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, September 5, 2014.
A native of Buncombe County, Kenneth was a son of James Pearson (JP) and Betty Conner Meece of Arden. He worked as a bail bondsman for several years and later became self- employed.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Jessica Marie Meece of the home; two brothers, Tony V. Meece and his wife, Anita, of Salisbury, NC and Scott A. Meece and his wife, Melinda, of Arden; one sister, Tina M. Meece and her husband, Robert, of Shelby, NC; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Conner of Arden as well as one niece, four nephews and three great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Earl W. Conner and his paternal grandparents, Roy and Lillian Meece.
A memorial service will be held at 8:00 PM on Friday, September 12, 2014 at Words of Life Tabernacle on Glenn Bridge Road in Arden with Pastors' Carl Bishop, Roger Kuykendall and Greg Pippin officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 6:00-8:00 PM prior to the service. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Words of Life Cemetery with Pastors' Scott Graham and Gerald Wilkie officiating.
The family would like to thank everyone for all the thoughts and prayers they have received the past year.
