Kenneth Jackson Shelton, 55, of Kingsport, TN, passed away Friday, February 3, 2023.

Born May 1, 1967 in Asheville, Kenneth was a son of Margie Shelton and of the late Hubert Jackson Shelton. He was a member of Monticello Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. He enjoyed working on cars, especially to help his friends, fishing, and working with his ServPro family. He loved being a “Pappy” and spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Shelton is survived by his wife, Michele Deitz Shelton; sons, Brandon Shelton (Stacie) and Bradley Shelton (Lindsey); daughter, Brittni Brown (Jonathan); grandchildren, Nathanael and Makenzie Brown and Emma, Aria and Isabelle Shelton; sisters, Mary Searcy (Leavon) and Brenda Shelton; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, 195 Dix Creek Rd. #2, Leicester, NC 28748. Pastor Jeff Strong will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
