Kenneth Richard Parham, 88, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023.

Mr. Parham was born August 15, 1934, in Buncombe County to the late Clifford Clinton Parham and Fannie Mae Parham. He was a member of the former Leicester United Methodist Church and was a retired machinist in the manufacturing glass industry. He was a collector of tractors and was a member of the Apple Country Tractor and Engine Association.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ivagene Black Parham; daughters, Michelle Wright (Jeff) and Malinda Reeves (Rusty); a son, Edward Parham (Brenda); three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, June 11, at the Leicester Episcopal Church Yard.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Leicester Episcopal Church Yard or to Mrs. Parham to assist with expenses. Either may be sent to Ivagene B. Parham, 2698 New Leicester Highway, Leicester, NC 28748.

    Just saw where Kenneth passed away. Our condolences to all of you. We will always remember Kenneth & his love of his tractors & seeing them lit up at Christmas time. (Shirley is a patient at Baptist Home & Debbie is practically home-bound, both have inherited the neuropathy from their father Elmer Parham)
