Kerran Scott Dunst, 42, of Asheville, passed away on April 25, 2016. He was born on November 4, 1973 in Morganton, NC. Kerran, or "Kerry" to his friends and family, was a son of Carl Joseph and Valarie Lynn Miles Dunst. He is also survived by his brother, Brandan Miles Dunst, and his beloved dog, Booger. Kerran was a graduate of Freedom High School, Morganton, attended North Carolina State University, and was a graduate of the Blue Ridge Motion Pictures Film Institute, Asheville. Kerran will be remembered as an avid concert-goer, foodie, and music enthusiast. He will be truly missed by all of his family and friends. A gathering for family and friends to celebrate Kerran's life will be on Wednesday May 11 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Groce Funeral Home at 1401 Patton Avenue in West Asheville.
