  1. We will miss Kim. She always had a smile on her face and kind word to say even through her illness. She and Mike were two of the most humble people I have ever known. Kim you are in a much greater place but those of us who are left behind feel your absence.

  2. oh Kim you have fought one of the hardest battles there is and you did it with great courage and dignity. You kept the smile on your face so that all around you could see the light of Jesus through you. You will be so missed and I am so thankful that you were my hygienist for so many years. We loved our chats didn’t we? God has gained one more special girl into His arms. May God keep Mike and the family close to His side and give them great comfort. Love you Kim!!!

  3. Sweet Kim, your earthly struggles are over, and although you will be missed terribly, we know that you are safe with God in His Kingdom. Someday we will all be reunited with our loved ones and there will be no more suffering or sadness, nor will we ever again be separated by death. Our prayers are with Michael and Kim’s families.

  4. Kim, you have gone on to glory and we are left to mourn our loss. Through it all, you never let cancer define you. You defeated cancer by the way you lived, loved and by your tremendous faith in God. What an example you set for us all. Our girls nights will never be the same. We will miss your sweet smile and your laughter. Until we meet again, rejoice in the presence of our Heavenly Father. I will miss you so.
Michael, you were such a wonderful husband. I pray for God’s comfort to surround you and bring you peace. Much love to you ~

  5. I am sad for Kim’s leaving, but rejoice in knowing she lives forever in Christ. To Him be glory, honor, and power! This was Kim’s life…glorifying Christ! In life and in death Kim showed us how to live.

  6. Kim, I can never remember ever seeing you without a smile on your face. And that is exactly how I imagine you today, talking with all of your family and friends that have gone to be with Jesus just a little ahead of you. I look forward to seeing that big smile again when I get there, and I promise that I’ll try to remember to floss. Thanks for showing this world what a true example of Godliness looks like.

  18. My memories of Kim are from a long time ago when she was often seen shadowing her big brother Robbie–the epitome of a young lady–a lasting image that must truly characterize her life. I live a long way from Asheville now but often recall with fondness those days, even though my mother died the year after I graduated from Reynolds following a battle with breast cancer. My heart goes out to the Vannoy family members. May you find comfort in knowing Kim’s was a life well lived.

May God watch over your family during your time of need.

    With my sincere sympathy,

  37. What a beautiful ‘celebration of life’ today for someone whose beauty was always evident both inside and out, as seen through that caring smile and positive outlook. We have always treasured our true friendship through the years-from the early days as teenagers, in college, our weddings, in the workplace, and right on through until the present time. We will treasure those lunches at Firehouse Subs in the last year. Your loyalty to God, each other, your church, your job, and your family and friends defines your faith. You have both always set the example for others as to what the Christian walk should look like and for that lives have been touched and many have been blessed. We love you.

  38. Michael,Bob & Jean,
A very difficult time for all, Kim is not suffering
and has gone to a beautiful new home in Heaven.
God will take care of her. My prayers go out
    to you all.
    God Bless,

    r

  44. I have had 5 weeks and 3 days to think what I would say about my precious wife. There are truly no words that would do her justice. She was the most wonderful person I have ever met. She was so faithful and loving to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, me, her family, her friends, her church, her job, co-workers, patients and God’s children. She loved everyone in spite of our faults. She left my arms and immediately went to be in Jesus arms. We had such a great love for each other. We had so many wonderful times together. I don’t understand why my Jesus would want to bless me with this beautiful woman. I know I am very blessed among men. All I can do is praise my Savior for all these blessings and the greatest being what Jesus did for us all at the cross. I pray all of us will live our lives for Jesus so we can be with him, Kim, family, friends for eternity. Thank you all for everything you have done for Kim, myself and our family. We love you. God bless each of you and your family.
