Kirke Bradwell Dalton, Jr.

Mr. Dalton, formerly of Transylvania County, and a native of Cleveland, Ohio, was the son of the late Kirke B. Dalton, Sr. and Lois Elizabeth Kirkpatrick Dalton.

Mr. Dalton was an Army veteran of World War II and was decorated. He was a sales representative associated with the National Federation of Independent Business. Mr. Dalton was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Swannanoa.

Mr. Dalton is survived by his wife, Rita Dalton, four daughters, Mary Dalton of Arden, Eileen Conley of Black Mountain, Linda Gibbons of Atlanta, GA, and Catherine Hooper of New Orleans, LA; one son, James Kirke Dalton of Oregon City, OR; four granddaughters and six great-grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Swannanoa on Thursday, November 30 at 11:00 A.M., with Father Andrew Latsko officiating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, November 29 from 7:00-8:30 P.M. at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.

A bereavement lunch will be held at the church following the funeral mass.
