Kitty A. Tomberlin
August 24, 1919 ~ November 27, 1999
A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Millard M. and Bonnie Allison and was the wife of the late W. F. Tomberlin who died in 1973. She lived in Buncombe County most of her life and was a former employee of Groves Printing.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Woody of Arden and Tricia Tomberlin of Asheville; two grandchildren, Allison Woody and Ann Ramsey and two great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian, with the Reverend Dick Muri officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times will be at the home of Tricia Tomberlin 24 Ravencroft Drive, Asheville.

Kitty Tomberlin was a very special person. In fact, she was a precious grandmother to me for 33 years! She will be greatly missed by my family and will always be in our hearts!
We miss our loving and giving Mother. We know she is in a better place. Her death places new perspective in our lives.
