Krafton Locke Mills River - Krafton Locke, 76, of Mills River, died Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Laurels of GreenTree Ridge. A native of Detroit, MI, he was a son of the late Willard and Josephine Miller Locke. Krafton was also preceded in death by two wives, Susie Locke and Patti Locke. A United States Marine Corps Veteran, Krafton was the owner and operator of Apple Tree Honda/Acura. He is survived by his wife, Larisa N. Locke; three sons, Jason Locke (Jen) of Mills River, Krafton Locke, II (Julie) of Horse Shoe and Kelby Locke (Amber) of Mills River; four grandchildren, Jacob, Anna, Krafton III and Lyndon Locke, as well as one grandchild on the way. He is also survived by one cousin, Doug Morgan, of Chicago, IL. A Celebration of Krafton’s Life will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 21, 2018 in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. His family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.   2. Krafton was one in a million. A real gentleman in all situations. He was a good friend and a real asset to Honda and Acura. He will be greatly missed. I was very lucky to have known him.

  6. I learned many valuable lessons from Krafton, about the business of sales as well as the proper way to treat people. I am grateful for his influence. Prayers go out to his family as they deal with this loss.
