Krista Nicole Tandy, 25, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016. A native of Fairview, NC, Krista was a 2009 graduate of AC Reynolds High School, attended UNC-Asheville, and was a graduate of Blue Ridge Community College. She worked for The Paradies Shops both in Asheville and Bentonville, where she had lived the past 2 years. She was a fan of the UNC Tar Heels, loved basketball, and had played at AC Reynolds. She was an active member of The Place Fellowship Church in Swannanoa. Krista is survived by her mother, Lisa Lytle Tandy; father Joe Linden Tandy, III and his wife Holly; paternal grandparents, Joe L. and Linda Tandy Jr.; maternal grandparents, Martin and Frieda Lytle; sister, Amber Davis and husband Benjamin; brother, Wesley Tandy; nephew and godson, Sawyer Davis; uncles and aunts, Mike and Caren Tandy, and Brian and Monica Lytle; and cousins Christopher and Steven Tandy, and Brett and Corey Lytle. She was preceded in death by her cousin, Emily Tandy. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian, with the Rev. Mike Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Tweed's Chapel Cemetery. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Place Fellowship Church, PO Box 1174, Swannanoa, NC 28778. "Never say goodbye, because goodbye means going away, and going away means forgetting".

I wished I could be with you Sunday but time and distance from Texas prevent me from being there physically but I will certainly be their in thought.
