Larry Eugene Anderson

Fletcher ~ Larry Eugene Anderson, 62, of Blake Road, died Thursday, September 2, 2004 at Elizabeth House. A native of Buncombe County, Mr. Anderson was the son of the late Vestal and Olive Mae Lance Anderson and was in the construction business. Larry was preceded in death by a son , Chris Gibson; three sisters, Ethel Nesbitt, Eloise Jones and Charm Shipman. He will be greatly missed by friends and family. Surviving is his wife, Linda York Anderson; a daughter, Sandra Rice and her husband, Jerry of Skyland; one grandchild, Joshua Rice; a brother, Kenneth Anderson of Fletcher and a longtime friend, Doris Pressley. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday in the Butler addition of New Salem Cemetery with the Reverend Earl Jones officiating.
