  1. Without doubt, LARRY is one of the finest human beings I have ever known. Quietly, but deliberately, he dedicated his life in service to other people, and in service to his God. I shall miss him until I see him again.

  2. I had the distinct pleasure and good fortune to have worked with Larry at American Enka/BASF. He was a member of a group of professionals working there that made a difference in the work experience. Rest In peace Larry, and thank you for all you did, including serving our country.

  3. Larry was such a sweet, kind man. I had the privilege of being his accountant. I only saw him a few times a year, but I will miss him. The world is a darker place with his passing.

  4. Mr Brooks was a very kind , soft spoken man , I have fond memories of him and Mrs Brooks from Enka Baptist Church, my deepest sympathy and prayers to the family. Diann Vicks Auldredge

  5. I worked for Larry for 25 years at American Enka/BASF. One couldn’t ask for a better boss/friend. He was caring, understanding, compassionate, and forgiving. His Christian values were always at the forefront. He was the best of the best and will be sorely missed.

  6. Larry was a true gentleman. I had the great pleasure of working with him for 23 years at American Enka/BASF. He will be greatly missed by family and friends, but will remain in our hearts and fond memories.
