Dear Family,
Summer and I were shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Uncle Larry’s and ‘My favorite brothr-in-law’s’ passing. Through the many years I have known Larry he was always a kind and true friend. Summer is very sad at the loss of her favorite ‘Uncle Stud’ and our hearts and prayers are with all of you. We feel that we both are still a part of the Shope family and will always be. We love you all and pray for your peace as Larry takes that great leap of faith into heaven.
Love,
Sharon and Summer
Ann, Ruth, and Nancy, I’m sorry for the passing of Larry. I wish I could have been there with you. I so vividly remember each of you attending church with Ann, Clara and me at Woodfin Baptist when your daddy was our pastor. My granny Corn loved your mother and dad very much. A great time was had by all who attended during those years. May you be blessed by knowing you are loved by each of us. The love of God will comfort and sustain you thru this. Love and prayers, Joan
