Larry William Morris

Larry William Morris, 71, of N. Ridge Drive, died Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at the Laurels of Greentree Ridge. A native of Buncombe Co., he was a son of the late Lester Verlon and Una Stepp Morris. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Clemmons Morris, and by a brother, Samuel Morris. Mr. Morris was retired from Kimberly-Clark. He is survived by a son, Chip Morris and wife JoAnn of Pensacola, FL; a daughter, Andrea M. Dalton and husband Mark of Gulf Breeze, FL; a grandson, Colby Dalton of Gulf Breeze, FL; granddaughters Lindsay Morris of Jamestown, NC, and Peyton and Madison Dalton of Gulf Breeze, FL; brother Ray Morris of Texas; stepsons Roy Clemmons and wife Gail and Charles Clemmons; step-granddaughter Heather; and former wife and mother of his children Judy Morris of Asheville, NC. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with the Rev. Martin Payne officiating.
