Laura Riddle Ellege

Mrs. Ellege was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Douglas and Cornelia Hall Webb.  She was married to James Rollin Riddle, who died in 1939.  She was an LPN and formerly worked in pediatrics at St. Joseph
hospital and also in private duty.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Floraine Austin of Arden and Emma Jean Bowling of Asheville;  a son, Tommy Douglas Riddle of Arden;  a sister,
Verta Riddle of Burnsville;  seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Sunday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Wilson Family Cemetery, Pensacola, NC.

Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
