Guestbook

  1. My brother used to delight in scarring me when we were growing up.He played Frankenstein and walked toward me dragging one leg. He was always fun. He loved Jerry Clower recordings. He could recite whole scripts. Lawrence was an avid fisherman! Nothing he liked better than fishing, unless it was cooking! He was a great chef. He will be greatly missed!!

  2. Lawrence was a great friend and co-worker of mine at Steelcase. Rest in peace buddy…He always had a smile that will be missed. Prayers for peace and comfort to his family..

  3. Lawrence was an awesome boss and good friend, l really enjoyed working with him at Steelcase, especially when he would bring homemade cinnamon rolls, Rest in peace my friend, Prayers for the family!!!

  4. My uncle Lawrence was the absolute best. He was always kind, fun to be around, generous with his culinary skills, and most of all, he LOVED his family. He liked talking about fishing, enjoyed watching westerns and football, and lit up when he had his family around him. I will miss him so much but am very grateful that he is at peace and in a better place now.

  5. Lawrence was a much loved brother. He and Jean hosted us many times in their home —times that were filled with laughter, fun, good food and great companionship. They lived next door to our parents and were tremendously supportive to them. He was kind and caring to everyone and will be greatly missed.

  6. Uncle Lawrence always had a smile and a hug for you. A kind, loving soul. To say that he is in a better place is a massive understatement given what he endured these past few weeks. I am so very sad today but also very happy knowing he has been greeted by my grandparents, Joe and Elva. They meant the world to me as did Lawrence. You are loved and will be missed. And thank you, Eva Jean, for taking such good care of him! Prayers, love and hugs to both you and Danny!

  7. My uncle Lawrence was a kind and loving person with a gentle soul. Always generous with his time and effort, he created and shared comforting food and warm hospitality. Memories of time with him are to be cherished.

  8. So sorry to hear about Lawrence. We grew up together. I am sure he will be missed by many. Prayers sent for entire family from the Owenby families.

  9. So sorry to hear of Lawrence’s passing. Joyce and I lived on Joe Bailey Road for many years. Lawrence was a good friend and great neighbor. We are praying for you, Eva Jean and Danny, as well as the entire Bailey family. Memories of our days living as neighbors and friends of all the Baileys are filled with some of the fondest of our lives. We love the Bailey family and trust the Lord will give each of you a sense of His presence during this time.
