  1. Lee has always been a very fair man, and would go out of his way to help those around him. He is not just my Stepfather he was a father to me. He had no problem telling me what I was doing wrong or right. 🙂 And treated me no different than he would his own children. My heart goes out to each of the children. Carol, Teresa, Linda, Mike, Tim, Steven, and thier spouses. And to my Mother I would like to say I am so sorry I cannot be there, My heart aches with yours, I will miss him very much. Love to you all. Connie Elkins Bean Oak Harbor, WA

  4. We are sorry for your loss. Brother Lee was a dear friend, and I enjoyed the times of visiting with him and our fellowship. We will miss him, but so thankful that we will see him again. We are praying for your family.

  5. I am going to miss my papow, The day my mom called me and told me that my papow excepted the Lord it was like a burden lifted off my shoulders cause now he is in heaven with the Lord. I will get to see him again someday. I love him and my prayers goes out to my aunts and uncles, sue.

  6. I am so thankful that my Dad accepted the Lord. On Tuesday, January 16th 2007. God lifted the greatest burden that I have ever carried, we will see him again in heaven.

He has a new body as God promises in the Holy Bible that has no more sickness and no more pain.

I always told him when I went to the hospital to see him that I knew that there would be pizza and swimming pools in heaven because it would not be heaven without them. And he told me then there had to be a huge carp lake there cause swimming pools were worthless. 🙂

Dad, we love you, you were one of the strongest people that we will ever meet and we are honored to call you Father.

We will miss you so much,
    Linda and Mike

  7. Mike & Judy,

We are sorry for the loss of your dad. We did not know. It is a sadness so deep it is hard to explain. It is very comforting to know he is in the presence of Jesus. The pain will ease with time. We will lift you up in our prayers and thank you for yours. Friends from the past are hard to beat. Our best to you.

  10. Mom called me this morning and told me about Uncle Lee’s passing. I know recently that his road had been tough and am glad that the suffering has ended. My condolences to all of you during this time of grief. I will always remember his love for fishing and his family. You will be missed Uncle Lee.

  11. Papa Lee,

Winnie the Pooh once said ‘ If ever there comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart and I’ll stay there forever’.

Henry Ward Beecher said, ‘What the heart once owned and had, it shall never lose’.

You will forever live in our hearts. We will miss seeing you in overalls, humoring us, and telling us all your fishing stories. We will also miss you giving us bubble gum! May you find peace by the still waters, and many, many trophy size carp!!

You are a REAL VALENTINE, born on Valentine’s Day. We wish you a Heavenly Birthday!!

We will not forget you and we will always love you.

Amy, Greg, Sarah, Sydney, and Samantha

  12. many right now are feeling the pain of lose and concern for those around us. No one knew that we were about to loose one of the special things in life but thats the beauty of it now we can keep going and hope for joy, and love, and faith and even maybe some more saddness because there has to be sorrow before light you have to fight to make things right, so instead of crying smile, instead of sitting run, instead of picking your nose go fishing thats what he would have wonted to do. Make life what you can while you are here because one of these days there will be NO MORE TIME and what will you do then. And hey for those in this faimley who over work them selfs and for our worry wart you guys chill because god has layed out a plan it has took me all these years to finally see it but its there and no matter what you do about it things happen when you least expect them.

  13. At this time of sorrow
    may these truths sustain you’?
    Your loved one will always
be as close as a memory
and the God of all comfort
will always be as close as a prayer
